Dr. Gelareh Noureddin is a clinician, surgeon and instructor in General Ophthalmology at Vancouver Coastal Health. Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, she moved to Vancouver in 2004 to begin her undergraduate studies in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia. She went on to receive her Medical Degree from the same University, graduating as part of the Class of 2011. Following Medical School, she completed her specialty training in Ophthalmology at UBC, where she served as Chief Resident. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in 2018, and is currently practicing Comprehensive Ophthalmology in Vancouver, BC.
Dr. Noureddin is passionate about the field of Ophthalmology and is dedicated to serving the community through her work. Her surgical focus is on cataract surgery, and she operates at the Eye Care Centre at Vancouver General Hospital.
